Juvenal Direct, Inc. (JDI) is the distributor for FILTROX AG of Switzerland in Central and Northern California. Equipment includes plate/plate and plate/frame filters in sizes ranging from 20 x 20cm to 120 x 120cm plate size; module filters for pre-fabricated stack-type depth filter modules in diameters of 12" and 16"; and cartridge filter housings for membrane filters. JDI also offers the matching filter media for each of these filter types, including filter sheets, depth filter modules and membrane filter cartridges. Other equipment available includes pre-coat filtration equipment for use with diatomaceous earth, perlite, cellulose and/or any combination of filter aids, and X-Flow with ceramic hollow-fiber membranes for final filtration and recovery of wines from tank bottoms. New products include the FILTROX-SECUjet(R) candle filter, which is a self-contained filter system that includes dosing tank with rapid pre-coating capability.
